Programme Overview

Indoor Bowls provides a wide network of life-long friends across all age groups. People have the opportunity to compete at any desired level no matter what age, or gender or ability. Waikato Indoor Bowling Centre controls, administrates and regulates the game of indoor bowls in the Waikato region for all affiliated club members of the various indoor bowls clubs as set to the geographical boundaries within the Waikato district.

The game of indoor bowls is fostered and promoted. Coaching is given. All equipment is provided. Affordable fees. Open events are organised where club members can play in an event with their bowling friends.

The Waikato Programme starts in February and the season ends in November. Events are arranged in the Waikato region between teams representing Waikato or selected teams where other Associations from other districts are also selected to play.

Club Member joins a club, aspires to become a rep player for their district, then their province, and then New Zealand.
