Programme Overview

United Matamata Sports, located at Bedford Park, is a family orientated sports club. Our main focus is providing the opportunity for our local community, young and old, to play rugby, netball and hockey at all levels.

We host a variety of sports teams including:

• Junior Rugby - Mini Midgets, Rippa Rugby and right through to 11th and 12th grade.
• Senior Rugby - our A's and B's compete in the Waikato Division 1 and in 2016 we introduced a Colts team who also play in the Waikato Competition.
• We host several netball teams competing in the local Matamata and competitive Thames Valley League.
• Hockey was newly introduced in 2016, they compete in the Waikato wide competition.
