Programme Overview
The Waikato Combined Equestrian Group Incorporated was established in 1986. We lease approximately 45ha from the Hamilton City Council and are a not-for-profit organisation run by a Committee of volunteers registered with the Charities Commission.
We have a Constitution which we abide by and run under the Rules and Regulations of “Equestrian Sport New Zealand”. Our aims and objectives are: To continue to develop and establish an equestrian facility for the community. To promote equestrian excellence. To provide services and facilities for a wide range of equestrian interests. To provide a place of learning where people can experience equestrian activities. To promote recognised equestrian interests within the region.
Lessons are structured sessions with a qualified Equestrian Coach of either 30 minutes or 1 hour duration. The lessons are structured to the individual needs of each client and are either private (one-on-one) sessions, paired lessons (2 riders) or group lessons. Lessons can be on one of our well schooled ponies/horses or your own.
