Programme Overview

The aim of Rimu Cottage playgroups is to develop a sanctuary of safe play for children and an oasis of peace and friendship for parents. There is a rhythm to the morning incorporating play, baking, a story and songs with seasonal themes and activities. Natural materials and handmade toys are selected to encourage imaginative play and to develop a sensitivity to nature.
