Programme Overview

Pickle what? Pickleball – it is a sport played both indoors and outdoors and is a mix of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Played on a badminton sized court with a low net, players use paddles (bats) and a hollow plastic “wiffle” ball to play games of about 15 to 20 minutes duration.

People of all ages and fitness levels can quickly pick it up and achieve rallies and games. The small court tends to make Pickleball quite social and a lot of fun. Reputedly the fastest growing sport in the USA, the game has been played in New Zealand since 2015 and there are now 40 Clubs in the country.

Cambridge Pickleball will be the second Club in the Waikato following Morrinsville, who have been playing for five years. Pickleball Cambridge runs every Monday and Wednesday, see times below. Come and give it a go, no need to stay the whole time.

Monday 10.30 - 12.30
Wednesday 4.00 pm - 6.00 pm and 6.15 pm- 8.15 pm

$10 per session (or by a session card $75 for 10 sessions)
