Programme Overview
Orienteering Waikato provide fun, challenging and rewarding orienteering within the Waikato region. We aim to allow everyone the chance to try the interesting sport of orienteering. We provide a base for beginners, and a chance to develop new skills. We have held mapping courses and technique development sessions and can arrange more if asked for.

Membership is on an individual only basis. The club can only operate for as long as it has people to run events, so there is an expectation that along with membership people will help out in at least one event per year. Membership runs for the calendar year from January through to the end of December. Membership cost is $10 per individual.
Orienteering is a sport which relies heavily on landowner good will to allow us to orienteer on their land. Please respect them and their properties. There are always levels of courses for beginners to experienced athletes and help is available to get you started.
