Programme Overview

Morrinsville Rugby and Sports club was formed in 1996 by the amalgamation of Marist-St Josephs and Morrinsville Old boys rugby clubs. The union of the clubs was intended to unite rugby within the community, promote participation in rugby, be competitive and provide local players a platform at the highest level. The club has grown with its community through the years and now supports more than just rugby. Currently, Morrinsville Sports has rugby teams participating in the Premier Grade, both Premiers and Premier Development teams, Colts, and U85kg, Rugby 7's Mens and Womens; Junior rugby and 7 Netball teams. In the summer the club hosts a very successful touch module. Looking to the future, Morrinsville sports has a vision to support the needs of the community as much as the community provides support for the club. As we grow and evolve we strive for excellence in every aspect of what we do, while holding onto that friendly country club culture that makes us unique.Whatever sport you are into - we will be able to help!
