Programme Overview

The Mercury Bay Aero Club is based at Whitianga and operates the airfield. Club activities are based around aircraft, both for flight training and private member hirage. The Mercury Bay Aero Club is an ideal place to fly in and visit the many attractions of Whitianga and the Mercury Bay area.

Our licensed airfield café Departure Lounge now open most days. There are lots of different options for learning to fly or for the more experience flyer - please do not hesitate to enquire for more information! The office is often unmanned as we are out and about on the field!
