Programme Overview
Hamilton Martial Arts Centre (H.M.A.C.) is a multi style Martial Arts & Fitness Program that not only caters to the competitive martial artist but also to the every day people who want to pursue the physical aspects of Martial Arts.
H.M.A.C. is a Combat Sports where we have set in place four of the more widely used Arts in modern day Combat Sports, Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing & Muaythai. We have structured our classes as non-contact classes to eliminate the intimidation factor, hereby giving new members the confidence to learn the Arts without the fear of being hurt.
We also make our fight readiness fitness Program available to everyone who wants to pursue a healthier lifestyle Martial Arts Training is a great confidence builder, Self-confidence is similar to a muscle. It needs to be exercised and developed to become strong. This happens over time with small successes that make it possible to achieve bigger and better things. With each small success your self-confidence grows.
The martial arts can help you to learn to set and accomplish goals and give you the strength and determination to persevere even when the going gets tough. A structured martial arts program like the one at H.M.A.C. provides a clear path for your success. At H.M.A.C. we help you to set short and long-term martial arts and fitness related goals and help you develop a plan for their accomplishment. Each time you reach a short or long term goal, your confidence grows.
Training in one or more of the martial arts programs at H.M.A.C. can help you to grow both mentally and physically. As you train, your body gets stronger and leaner. As a result you look and feel better. Looking in the mirror and seeing a stronger more physically fit body helps you to feel a new level of self-esteem. A strong body really does help you to have a strong mind.
